How the hell did we get here?
The two term presidency of Obama lit a silent and explosive fuse within the Republican Party that few truly comprehended or for that matter recognized. For the first time, behind the scenes, they sought out those that shared the “outrage and disgust” of a liberal, unknown African American, with a Muslim-sounding name, winning the presidency not once, but twice. The response particularly by African Americans at the inauguration of Obama released a long-repressed hatred for what the Democratic Party represented…..minorities……and the white liberals that supported them. The GOP had in fact built an impressive “Ice Creme Sunday” and out of the blue came a perfect, bigger than life, cherry…….his name was Donald Trump.
This “fuse” was officially lit in July, 2008 in Columbia, S.C. Four members of the GOP, two elected officials, two were senior organizers within the PACs/Super PACs of the Republican Party silently declared a “state of war” and adopted a “military” style of political methodology and strategy. None of the four were actual “leaders” in the party. They told no one of this meeting and in fact, did not trust the party to support such radical ideas and practices. The complete plan was to be implemented by 2014. Whether it was great timing, luck or divine inspiration, they had found their missing ingredient…..his name was Donald Trump. Incredibly, they believed that they could be successful with or without Trump. What they did not recognize was the fact that they could count on the Democrats to directly enhance and (indirectly) promote the new GOP through a complete lack of leadership and recognition of a changing America. Once Trump defeated Clinton, the Democrats committed one of the most grievous and out of touch decisions in perhaps the last 40 years. They passed the torch to an already uninspiring, “old-school” Democrat…..Joe Biden. It was time for a wake up call as to understanding what the GOP was capable of. It was time to recognize what was happening. They didn’t. In an ironic explanation involving both parties …. in plain English….DO NOT BRING A KNIFE TO A GUNFIGHT.
Just prior to the conclusion of the Obama presidency, there occurred a silent “tsunami” throughout the entire American political and social entity. It was to be the most dramatic and influential explosion of change perhaps since the American Civil War. The problem? One party exploded. The other party went to sleep. In Columbia, S.C., in May of 2016, the Republican Party declared a “state of war” and adopted a “military” style of political methodology and strategy. Four members of the GOP, two were elected officials, two were mainstays within the PACS/Superpacs world. The amazing factor was, no one knew about it by design. no one recognized it for what it was but more important, no one had a clue as to the magnitude of what was about to happen. In Columbia, S.C. in May of 2016,In essence, the Republican Party declared war and adopted a “military style” political methodology . The Democrrat
At the end of the first Obama presidency in 2013, 50 U.S. professionals (identified as having a minimum of 25 years experience, holding senior level titles) were contacted by an independent/researcher/editor who wanted input as to how they viewed the U.S. was changing and why, across a multitude of venues. These were well respected, “behind the scenes” individuals. If they were “hard-core to be later identified (as “deep state” resources. However, none had been active in giving interviews or opinions within the mainstream media. They did not seek, nor were they interested in, publicity. Additionally, they agreed to contribute a minimum of four ti
The goal was to use their expertise, knowledge and experience in examining what had transpired in the past 20 plus years and the resulting changes that had come about.
Suddenly in August of 2018 the entrepreneur disappeared (literally) and the 40 became 17.
The incredible changes within the American society not only continued but these changes became “over the top”.
Or did they?
NASA was formed to bring together a significant number of Americans who scratch their heads and ask…..
“What the hell has happened to us?”
